Classy But Edgy

Image
I have been making these cute little bow ties and i must say that i'm addicted and can not stop making different ones. This one is one of my favorites. I made this for a friend as a friendship gift and she have always wanted one with spikes. This bow tie is made out of white faux leather. I bought the spikes from Tundra Leather in Downtown, Hamilton. In my opinion these spikes are really good quality but i don't recommend getting this kind of spikes because they are pain when putting them on the fabric. I think these kind of spikes would be better on leather jackets or handbags. You have to use a hammer and i do not like it at all. I recommend getting the spikes that have bendable hooks on the back. They are more easier to put on and really easy to put on shirts, jeans and etc. I found this really cool website. They have tons of studs and spikes you can choose from. I think i'll be online shopping here more often. 1.Bow Tie, Marc Bueno. 2. Leather Jacket, Zara.

Just a little update and coming up events in my life. Nothing much has been really going on other than working a lot and finishing up my courses. Though i am very excited for next year. I will be applying for Colleges i want to get in to this summer. I am thinking about Humber, Seneca and George Brown for fashion design program. I heard a lot of good things about those Colleges, so wish me luck. I am hoping to start next year in January. I been working on my portfolio and sewing my designs that I've done for more experience and such. But the most exciting part that i am looking forward is going back to my hometown In Manila, Philippines after this Christmas. I will be spending my New Years back where i came from in a very long time. I must say that i have not been back home since i was 9 or 10 years old. I do really miss my family. Specially my grandmother, She's the only grandparent i have left and I really do miss everyone. Other than that i have been good with my cred

Hey Everyone! Hope you all had an amazing weekend. I'm pretty sure i did. This is my latest look i took on Easter Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny day. I really like this look on me. Very Minimalist and Simplicity. I matched black color shirt and blazer with this copper orange-y pants that i got from H&M for $24.99. Very cheap, I know! I love the quality and it fits me very well. This was the bag that i was talking about on my previous post which i got from Winners for $40 dollars and it was originally priced for $89.99. This bag is designed by Caleb. I never heard of that designer name before but i'm starting to fall in love. Very simple but edgy.  I didn't accessorize much on this look. I'm not really into a lot of accessories but hopefully one day i can explore more into wearing accessories more often. I got this ring at Ardenes. The fake wayfarer, i could never miss. I always wear that glasses pretty much on my every look. The shoes were from Zara. I ha

This is my latest look on my lookbook.nu page. I actually made this scarf, that i am wearing. I love it so much. So my look is all about black colors and shades. Some people really don't like wearing a lot of black but it is not a problem to me. Black is one of my favorite colors. One said " Black is not sad. Bright colors are what depresses me. They’re so...empty. Black is poetic. How do you imagine a poet? In a bright yellow jacket? Probably not. " - Ann Demeulemeester. Quoted by one of my favorite designers. 1. SCARF DIY, MARC BUENO 2.
